900 Weekly Flights, Over 50 Airports Worldwide: EL AL Group Unveils Extensive Summer Flight Schedule

Frankfurt/Main, January 5, 2026. EL AL today announced its flight schedule for the upcoming summer, which includes a significant expansion of flight offerings from the most popular airports to Israel.

For the first time in its history, EL AL will offer 55 weekly flights from North America – more than ever before in this market. As part of this expansion, the airline will add three additional weekly flights from New York (JFK and EWR), providing up to seven daily flights from these highly popular airports. Additionally, there will be one more weekly flight from Miami.

Demand for flights to the Far East continues to rise. In the upcoming summer flight schedule, the airline will offer two additional weekly flights to Bangkok, bringing the total to 16 weekly flights to Thailand (Bangkok and Phuket). The Tokyo route, one of the company's most popular routes, was converted to year-round service in early 2024 and will also see increased frequency. During peak season, up to five flights per week will be offered. These flights will be operated with the airline's largest Dreamliner aircraft, providing additional seating capacity.

Italy is emerging as the most popular European destination for the upcoming summer. EL AL increased the number of flights from the most popular cities – Rome and Milan – to a record 17 flights per week each. Venice will receive five flights per week. In addition, there will be a new route from Sundor from Naples with three flights per week. The Amsterdam route will also be expanded: all morning flights will be operated with wide-body aircraft, offering significantly more seats and an improved travel experience. Portugal also remains a popular destination with six weekly flights from Lisbon and two from Porto. Furthermore, the airline will increase frequencies from Budapest to 14 and from Munich to up to eleven weekly flights. It will maintain strong service from the core gateways of Paris and London with 27 and 22 weekly flights, respectively.

Shlomi Zafrany, VP Commercial & Industry Affairs at EL AL, stated: “The new summer flight schedule reflects our strategy to strengthen and expand our core airports while continuously seeking growth opportunities for new routes. We are attentive to the needs of travelers wishing to come to Israel and are working to expand our offerings for the USA as well as for popular routes from Europe and the Far East. The further expansion of our route network is our highest priority. We look forward to presenting further initiatives in the coming months that we intend to implement in line with our strategic vision.”
