Israel Welcomes Another Nonstop Connection: Condor Launches Flights Between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv

Israel, February 3, 2026 – The number of flights between Germany and Israel continues to grow: Starting in May 2026, Condor will also include Tel Aviv in its route network. This will make Israel even more accessible for tourists worldwide, especially from German-speaking countries.

With evening departures from Frankfurt, there are good connections to the airline's international feeder network. Condor first flew to the Holy Land in 1956 as part of a pilgrimage flight from Frankfurt. 70 years later, the airline is once again opting for a regular direct connection between Germany and Tel Aviv.

The new direct flight complements the existing flight program from Germany, which includes up to 66 flights per week with airlines such as Lufthansa, EL AL, Eurowings, and Israir. From Switzerland, up to 26 flights are available, and from Austria, up to 32 flights per week.

The news of the additional Condor connection comes at an important phase of optimism for Israeli tourism: In 2025, Israel welcomed approximately 1.3 million international tourists – a clear signal of stabilization in the sector. The DACH region is among the five most important source markets.

“Condor's new inclusion of Tel Aviv in its flight schedule aligns with the current mood of optimism: Israel is once again more present on the travel map, and the new route is an important signal at a time when tourism in Israel continues to stabilize. We look forward to working with Condor and its passengers who wish to discover Israel,” says Ksenia Kobiakov, Director of the Israel Government Tourist Office for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
