EL AL Maintains Air Bridge and Announces Limited Flight Schedule

Due to reduced flight operations, EL AL Israel Airlines states that seat availability on international flights is expected to be only 5 percent of the airline's usual capacity.

Following the decision by the Israeli Ministry of Transport to restrict flight operations at Ben Gurion Airport and limit the number of outbound flights operated by EL AL to 15 per day with a maximum of 50 passengers per flight, the airline has announced it will operate a limited number of flights to the following destinations: New York, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Paris, Rome, and Athens.

The updated flight schedule will be published in the coming hours, and passengers will be proactively notified. Incoming flights from these destinations are not subject to passenger number limitations.

Due to the limited number of available seats, passenger allocation will follow a prioritization scheme based on the original flight date. Priority will be given to exceptional humanitarian and medical cases.

EL AL emphasizes that the strict restrictions on flight operations at Ben-Gurion Airport have led the airline to reconfigure its operations to maintain Israel's air bridge to the rest of the world. All decisions have been made based on safety and operational considerations.

Customers whose flights are canceled will receive notification from the airline and will be entitled to a full refund or a voucher for future travel.
