Seoul, April 23, 2026. Starting April 24, Korean Air will enhance the travel experience for passengers departing from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) by relocating to the new Terminal 3 and opening a state-of-the-art SkyTeam Lounge.

Relocation to the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport
Korean Air will operate from the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport. This next-generation terminal is set to establish new standards in comfort, service, and design. Terminal 3 can handle up to 19 million passengers annually and includes gate areas G, H, and J.

Korean Air's check-in counters are located on the third floor in area J, Zone 32, and are open from three hours to one hour before scheduled departure.

Despite the move, connectivity within the airport remains seamless. Passengers can travel between Terminals 1 and 3 in approximately eight minutes using the SkyLine train.

It is expected that other SkyTeam members will gradually move to Terminal 3. Furthermore, partner airline Condor will relocate its operations there, enabling more convenient connections to major German cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich starting in summer 2027.

New SkyTeam Lounge at Frankfurt Airport
The main highlight of the move is the opening of the new SkyTeam Lounge on the mezzanine level of the fourth floor in the non-Schengen area of Terminal 3. The lounge is available to eligible Korean Air passengers, including First and Prestige Class passengers, as well as SKYPASS Million Miler and Morning Calm Premium Club members traveling on Korean Air-operated flights.

Spanning 550 square meters, the new lounge accommodates 126 guests. It boasts panoramic views of the airfield and a range of premium amenities. Guests can enjoy showers, high-speed internet, a soundproof telephone booth, a dedicated relaxation area, and an exclusive VIP area. These facilities cater to both productivity and relaxation.

In addition, the lounge offers a carefully curated culinary experience with freshly prepared local and international dishes served throughout the day. Thanks to a live cooking area and a digital menu, guests can conveniently order hot meals via QR code. The menu emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and regional dishes, complemented by a selection of German beers and wines. The lounge is open daily from three hours before the first SkyTeam departure until the last SkyTeam airline departure of the day.
