Moby Lines Introduces Enhanced Loyalty Program MOBY Card

Budenheim, April 29, 2026 – Moby Lines has further developed its popular customer loyalty program, MOBY Card. Effective immediately, members will not only benefit from the program on Moby connections but, for the first time, also on all routes of its sister company Tirrenia. Additionally, new ways to collect bonus points have been introduced, and exclusive partnership offers have been added.

The MOBY Card is now also valid for trips with Tirrenia ferries, both for collecting and redeeming points. This allows members to use their accumulated points for journeys across the entire route network of both companies. 

Upon registering for the MOBY Card, members receive a one-time bonus of 10 points. Furthermore, 10 points can be collected each time a booking is independently modified online within the personal member area (once per ticket). 

The popular 15 percent discount in onboard shops – excluding magazines and books – will now apply not only on Moby Lines ships but also on all Tirrenia connections. Additionally, members can benefit from exclusive partner offers from various companies. An overview of partners is available online as well as directly in the personal member area, including the respective discount codes. 

How the MOBY Card works
Members collect points with every booking on Mobylines.de or through an affiliated travel agency – provided they state their membership number during reservation:

  • One-way trip: 1 point per 10 Euros of ticket value
  • Round trip: 1.5 points per 10 Euros of ticket value

The ticket value is based on the ticket price for passengers, vehicles, and cabins, excluding taxes and fees. 

Collected points are credited after the completion of the respective crossing. From 100 points, they can be converted into discount coupons:

  • 2 points = 1 Euro discount
  • Minimum coupon value: 50 € | Maximum value: 500 €
  • Validity: 30 days from issue

Thus, for 100 points, one receives a 50 Euro discount; for 120 points, 60 Euros; or for 180 points, 90 Euros. Coupons can be redeemed for any Moby and Tirrenia destinations, subject to available quotas.
